12/6/17 Sewing evidence of learning

For me the last 3 weeks have been my first experience/s with a sewing machine. For me, all I wanted to make was a Tyrannosaurus Plush... cause dinosaurs. Before we could start on prototypes and tests we had to make a plan. For that I ran to the internet for help. The internet helped me and from that I got a good idea of what I wanted my rex to look like. It would be a fat smallish design that would be red and orange.

Using the machines was next. It wasn’t particularly complicated  and I got the hang of it quickly. As of now I am working on  a better design that would allow me to stuff it and then prototyping it with flexi-fabric (a fabric that can be cut, glued, machine sewed, hand sewed and a bunch of other things). It seems to me I have to get the tail fatter so I can get stuffing in. I’m hoping to perfect the design this week and start making the real thing.
