20/9/17 Max immersion Reflection

The end of Max’s Immersion marks the halfway point of Immersion this term.  Max’s theme was murals and silhouette art. If I chose that Immersion we would be making a mural across the foyer (sadly I don’t have a picture of it). It would cover the wall opposite to the office, door to door and a small part outside.

Whether I do this project or not I enjoyed the immersion. Until my final Immersion, I think it will be a toss-up between this and making the playground but both will benefit the school and get me to work co-operatively. Also, I should enjoy it.

15/9/17 Immersion Liv Evidence of learning

Liv’s Immersion theme wasn’t really clear to me because I missed the first session but I think it's making signing for the school (it is). The two sessions that I was there for we looked at using photoshop and worditout (making word clouds), we also made silhouette characters to display with messages around the school.

I don’t think that I will do this as I haven’t enjoyed it as much as the others I have done.

4/9/17 term 3 projects/Immersion evidence of learning.

This term’s Immersion/projects is centered around creativity. Along with the core subject of creativity, they told us that this Immersion would be different. Instead of the usual process of having some time in an immersion group followed by choosing a project then doing it, we were introduced to the projects immediately then after three sessions in each project group after which we will choose a project group to stick with and do it.

My group’s (group 6) first ‘project introduction’ was around design and the process. Our first session was connected with Amy’s group who is centered on building a new playground (one specifically for the senior school (LC4 and 7). This makes me assume (which has been confirmed) if we will be looking at designing the playground mainly. I am interested to see where this is going and when we choose what project to work with I will most likely choose this one.
